Jason knew that he needed to learn a better way to find work. He was constantly filling out applications but could not seem to get a call back, and his work options were limited because of a broken car. Determined to overcome any barrier, Jason heard about the FSET program and decided to sign up.
With the FSET team as his guide, Jason attended workshops, participated in work experience, and learned new job searching techniques. They helped him get cab vouchers, and with constant diligence, Jason soon found work at a gas station. Even better, he put his new skills to work, and within three months he worked his way up to their management team!
“The [FSET] staff has always been great, understanding and helped with many, many things. Awesome program,” says Jason of his experience. With his new confidence and skills, Jason plans to continue advancing until he turns his job into a career, possibly opening up his own tattoo parlor.
